here is a panoramic view you may need to click on it to see better
you can see a man wading across it was about 2.5 feet deep and flowing quiet fast.the level has dropped some 5/6foot over night.
This is the view to the Grenough Hamlet, another way to town..... this water is flowing very fast and is still flowing around the town when this was taken at 10am
I have just been told that the road are reopening, with care, the helicopters are going over every few hours assessing the situation. So I guess my days at home are over and its back to work tomorrow...
I did get busy and this is what I have done today
finished all the QAG block to be sent to Qlds.
and that box of strips is still full..
. I have also been working on a scrap braid quilt out of the box
here is a picture, still need the last strip stitched on, it will be a knee/snuggle quilt for the lounge for when an if winter comes, as much as it has rained and flooded here it is 36oC and the humidity is so high.
I have started a postage stamp quilt, have joined about 60 strip together and then have to join them again and again then some more ..... long way to go on that one!
thanks for dropping in ..take care

That's a lot of water. It is amazing how fast it does dry up.
